Plus, we are getting receipts from the charities just in case he wants to write it off on taxes. BV on the lot is $96 (could get a premium on the Ordonez). And since these are base cards they are donating, it's not like they can be sold. The kids at the hospitals could care less about book value. They just love to receive ANY cards of their favorite players.

Lot #2 will cost roughly $7 (Mikefromchester donated 2,500 cards which went to the Arlington Pediatric Center which costed him a little over $7).

These charities are for a good cause and majority of the feedback we get from a lot of people is "postage costs". We never complain about postage sending the prizes to the winners or the cards put in these auctions. Donruss is doing what our original plan was (box break and review and donate the base cards to Children's Hospitals, but we decided to use the inserts to generate even more cards. Instead of each location just getting like 120 cards, they are getting thousands which will last a while).

Let's just put it this way, we could easily go back to our original plan and just send directly to the Children's Hospitals and cancel the auctions. We are just trying to get more cards to the Hospitals and give users a chance to get some nice cards. Either option will work.
