Full Steps, 1964 Jefferson Nickel

Does anyone care to give me their professional opinion? It is whether or not this coin can receive the FS designation. I have been able to compare it to nickel's which do have the designation. I know what I think, but I am not a professional, and a second or third opinion will help me determine my next step.
Thank You,
Brian K. Briggs

Your image has too much glare. I see five full steps but I'll bet there are some hits across them. In any case, it is not a 6 FS coin.

  • Thank You Insider2. Maybe this image is a little clearer?

Brian, is your coin a Business Strike, or, Proof Strike? I think you have a Proof 1964 Nickel. Nicely struck nickles with better details / FS are common in proof. If it's a Business Strike with FS then you are on to something- maybe post a full image of coin; obverse, and reverse. Thanks.

Nope. Decrease the magnification a lot. Also, do you have a fluorescent light? Just the reverse should answer your question.

That coin is 100% a Proof. No question.
It also has what would pass for full steps. But being a Proof, it is irrelevant. The depression on left side of steps is on all 64 Proof nickels.
Zoom in on the letters of five cents and check for doubling or tripling.
