How do you submit these Pinups or poster size cards? I am looking to submit a few 1967 Topps Pinups. Is there a specific card saver recommend size? I am considering that they shouldn't be folded. If I am wrong please share how you do it.

Did you obtain any higher grades? I would like to know if folding along original lines is the best method since I have some very sharp examples that may have laid flatter for a long time. I was going to attempt to holder them flat in some type of holder, but if folding is the norm then card saver 1's would work.

    Thanks.

I submitted in 5x7 toploaders. My grades were disappointing, I think these paper thin items get graded harshly because of tiny paper wrinkles. I had bought several that appeared mint from a guy who had opened packs.

    Good luck!

Same here. Used 5x7 toploaders, then folded a piece of paper over the top of the group and taped on front/back

Tough on the grades. Have a '68 Bart Starr that I thought was an easy 8, but got 5,6,6 on multiple re-subs. On the other hand, felt lucky to get an 8 on the '71 pin up.

Have to be exceedingly careful with them, as it is very easy to put a small wrinkle on them

This was my first (and only) experience grading the pinups and the ones I submitted were already folded. I'm not sure what I would do if they had been stored flat, maybe sub them in a large top loader?

Thank you for posting the grades. I am conflicted still on my best method since the pinups are more flat than folded and even the original lines are faint. I may try a batch of 2-3 of each and see what it produces before submitting more if no other experts chime in.

  • I submitted a 1987 Wheaties football card (card comes folded in package). I sent it in carefully unfolded flat in an oversized top loader, cardboard around it. Card came back a 8. So I would recommend going flat in an oversized top loader. Too much could happen if sent in folded.

Do these have to be submitted separately from a regular size card submission? If so, how much per poster and what is the minimum that must be submitted?
