Seeking help in getting rid of smoke smell

I purchased two 1950s Hank Aaron cards encapsulated by PSA from a seller. When I got them, they smelled bad of cigarette smoke. I hate when I get smoky smelling stuff. I really should quit assuming that when I buy something it will come smoke smell free. Anyway, does anyone have any tricks for getting rid of the smoke smell? Thanks in advance.

My wife puts the item in a ziploc bag with an unscented dryer sheet - it takes a while but works for her.
The Internet agrees with the dryer sheet method. A few others here as well.
