Will This 1969 Wilt Chamberlain Score a PSA 8 (No Qual) Grade?

In your opinion.......will This 1969 Wilt Chamberlain Score a PSA 8 (No Qual) Grade? It is a clean card, but I have concerns about the back side poor centering...or will this meet the PSA 8 standards of 90/10 for reverse side? Does this have a high chance of being a PSA 8 w/ no quals or low chance?

Looking for feedback from forums members, ty in advance!

The notching on both the left and right borders, coupled with the corners not being razor sharp are more of a threat to your 8 than the flipside centering.

Agree. Top corners and borders keep this out of an 8.
    Maybe even a 7.

    1. First thing I noticed were the corners.

Backside centering is not an issue for getting an 8. The corners while not razor sharp are decent (top left being the worst). I think getting an 8 is a long shot. Solid 7 or 7.5 if no hidden wrinkles. Here is my PSA 7 as a reference. I don't have a scan of the back.

Thanks. I also noticed what looks like a a letter "s" on the the left outside of card near the the basketball on the sketched player. Is that a pen or pencil mark on the card?

Good eye. Appears to be scanner gunk

The chipping on the right side/ front near where he's holding the ball is going to hurt you the most I believe.
That and the slightly soft top front corners.
    Still a very nice card.

Both examples seem to have that same sort of chipping on the right edge, just in different positions.

Based on my experience, PSA 7 because of the corners & edges, NQers, back is okay. This card is selling for far higher levels than the PSA Price Guide suggests.

Ding on left by his elbow will keep it in a 6 and 7 at best.

I think a 6 probably (at the worst) and a 7 on a good day.

I don't think this will 8. The notch will keep it out of the 8. Great looking card though.

Low chance at an 8. I think the print job -- along with the TL corner -- is what keep it out. I think it's in the 6-6.5 range. Sweet card!
