Face value or more?

Got this note today at the local coin club auction. Worth only $50? or a little more?

Technically yes, but it's hard to find a buyer above face in that grade.

Thanks. I only paid $50 for it so I'll just spend it.

Spend it at a coin show! I like doing that with similar notes.

Book value of 170$ in CH CU grade. Could be a VG condition note from the picture. I’m sure someone on EBay would be wiling to slightly more with free shipping or next to free.

The type of currency I keep as "emergency" money. I probably have a couple of grand worth of Series 1934 $50s and $100s I have saved from bank finds.
