Pack help - to grade or not to grade?

Hi all. Hoping some of you pack experts can help me out. I received these packs in the mail today and was interested in their grading potential. The PSA grade explanations indicate that very off center packs max out at 7 ("Note: This is the highest grade a pack can receive if the wax wrapper is a complete manufacturer miswrap, where there is a severe centering imperfection to the wrap."), but I don't know if any or all of these qualify - severe is very subjective. Any thoughts on the grades I might receive? I don't see any corner or gum tears, but the blue corners do show a bit of white...
Thanks.
Jim

I vote no save your money and buy more packs
I would imagine they could be 8's. Since it is Topps, the difference in an 8 or 7 isn't much for these packs, and likely not an improvement over raw sale+grading fees+shipping fees. Are you grading for "security" or for resale?
Mainly for security, but possibly to reduce the temptation to rip and hope for the Lemieux! Thanks for the input - the only comparable sales I saw on the PSA site were 2 8s from this year, so I appreciate the info on 7s...

I think you're looking at 7- 8 range with these. Wax is tough to get higher grades on and any corner wear will limit grade to an 8 at best.
Nice group of clean packs.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
If it were me I'd pass. I did actually send in a shipment of packs this week though.

Thanks guys - I like the advice to save my money to buy more. Are there any secrets to determining the card that is showing on the back of one of these wax packs? I tried putting the packs under a bright light but was only able to make out the slightest hint of a picture, but someone on eBay has a graded pack that’s noted as having Lemieux on the back. Is it luck of the draw with how the wrapper’s folds land, the contrast of the picture on the card, etc.? Or are certain lights/conditions better? Thanks.
