What is the deal with this card? I saw a link to one on eBay for a ridiculous price and investigated, and then looked at the "Sold Listings" and saw that even raw ones have sold for over $25.

I like the one that is up for $3500 or the PSA 10 that is up for $25000. Supposedly there is a variation with a wide red stripe running down the card just left of center. It is kind of faint in the pictures that do show it. I'm not sure if I would call it a variation. There are a few listings that you can see something very faint in the pictures. The problem is even if it is true it looks like people are posting none variation cards for ridiculous prices just trying to make some quick $$$.

try a google search, you'll find the answer you're looking for
If I remember correctly, a couple collectors decided to play games with the market on this card.
There was a video on youtube with a guy opening a whole case of 90 fleer wax with his daughter looking specifically for the Uribe card. Can't seem to find it. Thought it was strange at the time. Thought the guy was just nuts.

Honestly, within the sports card category, the Fleer Uribe thing has to be the craziest concept on ebay right now. I don't understand it at all. I recently sold one for $1 and considering the card should not be worth the paper it's printed on or the storage space, I'm calling that price a big win
Think they would accept a BO of $2?

I love it.
The youtube video of the guy with the 30 (or is it 50?) cases of 1990 Fleer in his basement is pure magic. He's so genuinely excited when he finds the Uribe that I just want to bottle up that moment and take it with me everywhere I go. That guy is my hero.

maybe they were smoking canabids when they got the cards?
