Thanks Errors. I am swamped till January 19' but I'll keep you posted. Looks like you are an expert now! Go out there get a BIG nugget for all of use to see and envy! Here's the old way mining in the desert I mentioned above.

Metalmaster, very nice gold that you found up in motherlode country.

You may be disappointed with what you would find in the desert as it is hard dusty work.

But you are still more than welcome to try out the desert gold mining experience if you wish.

Are you working the dirt on a weekend?
I think I'm close enough to you in area code 85365 and would like to make a day trip out....check out your operation and put a face to the name.

I usually go in on a Thursday and leave on Saturday but I can go anytime really.

If you live in that Zip code than you could probably throw a rock across the Stateline and hit my claim.

More than welcome to meet me out there to check it out.

You may actually make money if you dig with me as your gasoline bill would be much lower than mine :D

Man, if I lived within a couple hours I would be there for sure. This looks fun.

I finally did some photos of the gold from a few days ago.

Below are vials. I now have a nugget vial. The two biggest nuggets were found a couple days ago. The third was from two weeks ago.

What would you do if you had unopened rolls of coins? I have always opened them.

So I brought 6 3/4 buckets of paydirt from the claim home and I have a wet sluice box set up. I also have a ton of coin business work that I need to do.

    What would you do?

We went to roaring camp and brought back 6 large ziploc bags of concentrates, so you asked what would you do... Sadly I'd have to say sit them on the table out back like the rest and try and find the time to process them.
    We work M-F...
How long do you stay on a saturday?
I'll shoot you an email and see if we can get together.

    I
Haven't tried out the newest toy dry yet.

I would sell bags of the dirt one ebay. Plant a few tiny flakes in each to make sure each has gold for sure. You could probably make a killing.

LOL, That looks at like lot Ceasers, because it is as I sluiced right there 2 years ago. I bought home many bags on concentrate, That is where I found my largest nugget found in virgin soil.

Looks like they now have a holding pond for the sluice boxes. Is that new? I made a mess with mine that the workers commented on, LOL!

However, The Roaring Camp Pay pay piles are absolutely seeded 100% FOR SURE.

I can stay all day overnight on a Saturday.

That is already a huge business on ebay and the internet.

I will just stick to error coins.

Have a friend, he is 78 years old. He made enough $ on the DOT com markets, got out on time and retired fairly young.
While on a fishing trip in 1986 to the Yukon and NWT, he found and secured 2 abandoned older and totally neglected, not promising claims next to each other. It turned out to be some serious adventure over the years.
Ever since he and his partner (common law wife) head out late spring to the Yukon where they have 2 gold claims.
when they come back in October or earlier depending on snow and weather, they usually bring their last months "finds" down with them and sell it here for cash to pay for a winter trip to the Algarve-Portugal where they have a small residence. They sell their regular finds to a buyer in the Yukon and usually get anywhere from 3000 to 15000 CAN $ every month while "working" in the Yukon. The best ever they did in 1 month was exactly 21,412$ on cash-in. That month they found 27 larger nuggets. He has yet to tell me exactly where his claims are... BUT he promised if he makes it to 80 in a couple years, he will invite me up for the party and for a few weeks of getting my hands wet. His BD is in the summer. It will be my first "gold mining" experience. I am patiently hoping :)
he is 78 now, but looks like 55... so he will make it (unless a grizzly gets him first)

Today is the first day of the rest of my life

Yes ceazars, the holding pond is new for 2018 from what I hear.
We were up there 2 years ago also, stayed in the Lux cabin.
Moved more dirt this last visit and so far haven't found much.
Did manage to get a few pairs of Jean's and shoes dirty.
