NY-630-L-4do struck over an 1863 cent • Broas Bros. • R: 1149 FRANKLIN R9 Copper Nickel PCGS MS-65 SOLD

From Q. David Bowers, himself who stated "This is, perhaps, the most spectacular cent overstrike in existence. At least I have never seen anything like it nor had the partners at R&T."

The details of both the host coin (an 1863 Indian Cent) and the storecard (Broas Bros. New York) are almost evenly matched, creating awesome eye appeal. You'll notice a sharp Indian profile with full LIBERTY perfectly placed in the wreath with "Army and Navy." The Indian's eye is right in the middle of the "A." The reverse is great, too. Franklin with "ONE CENT" carefully struck with the "C" surrounding his eye.

For collectors of overstruck CWTs, it doesnt get any better than this! PCGS MS65 with pedigree to Dave Bowers via Rossa & Tanenbaum.

Thanks for looking!
