This is it! Our 40 millionth coin graded! This Japanese Yen coin of 1869 (Meiji 2) is part of a 5 coin experimental model set by artist Kano Natsuo, a master craftsman of the era who designed swords. #coins #worldcoins #rarecoins #numismatics #pcgs

Wow, that is a very valuable coin! Done in London, if I’m not mistaken.
A series of different denominations were struck in various diameters in both silver and copper.
I happen to own both a half-Yen and gold 2.5 Yen struck in copper.
The foreign coin biz is the future of PCGS!
Beautiful coin! That is art with a coin medium. Such an elegant design.
