Question on PSA grading 1971 Topps Tattoos

I have two 1971 Topps Tattoos panels that are mint. I have a question about how PSA grades these. The panels are folded perfectly, but they are not folded where the perforations are. Not sure if this was how they came or not. For example, the fold in the panel is 1/8" above where the perforation is above the Kaline and therefore 1/8" above the perforation below the Kaline. So if I were to separate these, where do I separate them? Further, the Kaline can be separated from the May. Should that be done?
Does that make sense?

I have submitted some and would think you need to separate them at the perforations and the ones with folds that don't line up will be considered creased.
