Put them in a phone book, bible or encyclopedia. Does anyone even have such things these days?

LOVE IT!!!
collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.
looking for Topps 71-72 hi's-62-53-54-55-59, I have these sets started
Pretty nice cards. I would go with the idea of holdering them (gently) in a toploader and penny sleeve, maybe with one additional card outside the penny sleeve for added gentle flattening. You could truly flatten them with release paper, an iron and moisture, but that road can easily lead to an "altered stock" designation. Be sure not to crush them in an effort to remove the curl.
Top loader and under a heavy book for a few months. Don't put them inside a book - you may forget they are there!!
Has anyone ever tried this with the tan back (very thin) Wacky Packages? I bought a "near mint" collection of cards with great corners and centering, but look like mountain ranges. I'm guessing some type of moisture maybe although there is no staining.
Get somebodys mom to sit on them while watching Wendy Williams and/or Soap Operas, in the meantime to remind to keep the ding-dongs and twinkies by her side.
I remember her being billed as "The Wow Girl".
We have a stack of encyclopedias we're about to get rid of (we insisted the kids learned to look stuff up the old fashioned way in addition to online). They are HEAVY!
Did you ever figure out how to get these flat? I have quite a few mid-50s baseball cards with this problem. I question whether puttiing them under heavy books would work.
Always looking for Mantle cards such as Stahl Meyer, 1954 Dan Dee, 1959 Bazooka, 1960 Post, 1952 Star Cal Decal, 1952 Tip Top Bread Labels, 1953-54 Briggs Meat, and other Topps, Bowman, and oddball Mantles.
Warped? Mr Mint would call that 'vending curl!'
