My brother & law is cleaning a old sports store & found these.
He said there is about 150 1957 Topps Baseball cards
20 cases of UD 89-90-91
Hockey
Also another 75-100 complete sets from Hockey from 1988-93. Topps, Score UD & Opeeche
Monster box filled w/ cards in top loaders.
Plus thousands more singles, packs, boxes cases & sets.
He’s bringing them all to me Saturday. I can’t wait!!
Are these Topps worth anything raw?

Great find! That Koufax looks nice. I can't tell exactly how nice from the photo, but the centering looks good.
If I had to guess I would say the Koufax is in the ballpark of this listing on EBAY.

The centering on the Mantle looks about like this

Even just to get them preserved in their current state I would get them graded.

Thanks. I’ll post better pics when I get all the cards Saturday.

These are the card # of the cards (my brother in law knows nothing about cards).

Get them out of the screw downs as quick as possible as those can/will damage them to the point of being "altered" if sent in for grading.
yeah, those screw downs are pretty rough. from the dates of most of the cards, it seems the store may have closed in the early 90's. that would mean those 57's have probably been in those screw downs for 25 or more years. I would doubt they are gradable, but as long as they haven't adhered to the plastic, those are some nice collector grade cards.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Settle down folks. Those are grooved screw downs. Its obvious on the Mantle.
I actively collect Kirby Puckett. I have collections of Michael Jordan, Emmitt Smith, Roberto Clemente, Dwight Gooden, Tom Seaver, Errict Rhett and Evan Longoria.
those just notoriously round corners, no biggie
