Dodgers 2019 - Early Thread
A long five game series after a long, up and down, season. What's up for 2019? Do we bring in a big name? If anything I would like a legit #1 starting pitcher.
Starting Five:
Kershaw - one more year as the #1?
Buhler - future #1?
Ryu
Hill - I think he turns 60 next year but looked great in game 4 of WS!
Stripling?
Pen:
Jansen - one more years as the closer?
Baez
Urias
Maeda
Alexander
PITCHERS GONE:
Gas Can Madson
Wood
Starting in the field:
1 - Muncy
2 - Dozier?
3 - Turner
SS - Seager
Left - Kemp
Center - Bellenger
Right - Puig
C - Someone new I hope
Utility:
Freese - He impressed me
Joc - Young with potential
Kiki - I don't love him but he's versatile
Taylor - versatile - just needs to cut down that swing
Toles - young talent
Verduggo - young talent
Position Players GONE:
Manny - I think he cost himself a ton of money by his antics this postseason - I was very unimpressed overall with Manny. No chance we keep him, right?
Grandahl/Barnes (keep one as back up - Barnes much cheaper I think)
GO BLUE!

I think Buhler is your number one. you know Kershaw will break down at some point during the season it is just a matter of how long.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Frankly I don't know how the Dodgers got to the WS. Nobody on the team impressed me. That includes the manager!
Regular season is different than post season. They did not cherish their at-bats in the post season. They didn't do any of the little things you need to do in the post season. Regular season they just hit home runs and had good pitching. Not enough in post season. Really pathetic.
