iPhone Coin Photo Tip

I know the iPhone isn't the best for coin photos, but it certainly is convenient. A helpful feature I just discovered is the built in level in the iPhone camera. This may only be available in iOS 12 or later. If in Settings → Camera you turn on Grid, then when taking a photo of coin or slab on a level horizontal surface, the camera will show crosshairs to allow you to align the phone level thus assuring a nice round coin and not an oval. This only works if the coin is on a level horizontal surface.
