    Correct, they are only usable by the account that accrued the reward. Per their terms and conditions "Rewards are not transferable and have no face value".

    @davids5104 I suggest you search ebay for silver (poured, bar, silver eagle, silver dollar, whatever search term you like). Then in the left hand column of the search results, navigate to a non-bullion category like US coins.

    You can't use the bucks in the bullion category, but you can use it in other categories that bullion is miscategorized in. Once you find a suitable candidate, you can easily convert your bucks into an ounce of silver, which is better than losing them should you not find anything else to spend it on.
