Can anyone recommend where to buy a bullion scale that can weight over 100 troy ounces. funny a $350 to $600 scale and they have a capacity of up 40 troy ounces. If someone can let me know what they use or where to go to buy them would be appreciated.

For larger items I use a cheap postal scale that has a 10kg capacity. I think it cost me $15 and runs on AC or batteries. For my purposes it's plenty accurate (+/- 1g) but as always YMMV.

If you need something with 10kg capacity and is accurate to 0.01g then you are in a different ballpark than me.

not sure what model I have, but I use Radwag scales. In my scrapping I typically dont have to go over 100 ozt and I think my scale goes to 150 with a readout 5 decimal places. Takes time to set up and calibrate, but well worth it.
