I recently inherited a large sports cards collection spanning 70’s - 2000 looking to get rid of them

I recently inherited a very large sports card collection from a deceased relative. I am currently in the process of moving and don't have enough space to store this, nor do I have the time, interest, or player knowledge to break up this collection. These cards were stored in individual boxes sorted by team (and then some were sorted by brand). As far as I know, none of these cards have been professionally graded. Visibly, the condition of the cards range from visible creases/damage-- to looking almost brand new. The collection spans from the early 1970's to the early 2000's. This collection is completely un-searched and undisturbed from how it was left.

I highly suggest you go and modify your auction shipping
I see free shipping on some

you may be shipping for more $ than auction returns you

Thanks for the links. I noticed the first image on your Pirates listing is actually the Phillies - the rest of the Pirate images look right, though.

Thank you for the feedback guys I appreciate it. Unfortunately I haven’t sold on eBay in a few years so I made a few mistakes (namely accidentally adding free shipping and duplicating the listing on several before realizing). I have to honor the ones that have free shipping because they received bids before I was able to change it.

I believe nearly all of them have cards from the 70s except for the lot that included the marlins, Rockies, devil rays, and diamondbacks. For that lot I believe it was all 90s and early 2000s. I’m hoping not to end up spending money to get rid of these, but I guess we’ll see! Hopefully someone can find some good stuff in there!

Hey guys, thanks for your responses, as it was suggested, I ended up taking down the auctions because it looked like I was going to end up spending money to get rid of these. > @Stingray said:

The ratio of 70s cards to 80s and 90s card is fairly low, but there are definitely a measurable amount in every lot (except the younger teams of course). I’ve had a handful offers for the entire lot, but I have absolutely no idea what number I should entertain without coming off as naive. I should have staged the photos in a way where the entire lot was more visible, but I don’t really know a great way to do that seeing as there are so many cards in the collection. Each lot has a minimum 400ish with many having more.

I would suggest not placing cards on that fabric with the criss-cross pattern. Very confusing and difficult to look at.
