eBay ....Problem... or NOT..

BUT.... if you ever browse on an Android device (or maybe other mobile device) and are getting the "MOBILE" view on listings that requires messing around to see ALL the pix, I'd ...highly... recommend contacting them about the issue.

I did.

They tried their damnedest to ...fix... it and even followed up diligently trying to find the proper settings to force the DESKTOP VIEW to display.

Finally after a few exchanges, I sent back my reply that I don't care to spend the time or energy.... trying ....stuff to get the old format back on my mobile tablet.

AND....that MY "solution" is to QUIT browsing eBay on the mobile tablet.

They replied today that they were getting MANY complaints and.....ta-daaaa..... are now trying on THEIR end to get the techs to get things back to the desktop view on mobile devices.

ANYHOW my thinking is that IF you have the same issue and do NOT like the mobile view......LET THEM KNOW

Mine sure doesn't.
It will format the category in the desktop format but click on an item and it defaults to the crummy view.

....here only maybe but it's irritating.

Anyhow they are working to correct it.

Sometimes I get it sometimes I don't. Not sure why. I think I am on the mobile version but not the eBay app.

The navigation on the mobile site keeps getting worse.

And as a perfect example, I just went there and cannot find any reference to eBay Bucks. I wanted to check my total. I'm sure it must be there somewhere but I can't find it.

Mobile use of eBay is not fully functional unless you have the app. As stated above, it automatically reverts to mobile online. Every. Single. Time. Try requesting an invoice or viewing dashboard and related seller sections for an exercise in futility.
I have learned to use the app for everything except fine details like eBay bucks info, seller settings, and more accurate sales and purchase history. These details require an actual desktop.

I investigated the APP.
The info says it has....ADS !

So I did not install it.

The only ads I ever see are links at the very bottom of pages. Also sponsored listings may appear multiple times in the same search.
The app does push hard for certain settings, to the point of near harassment, like asking me to lowering listing prices but I generally like it better than desktop.
