Another so called slug pickup.

I’m going to have quite a few to submit for grades and trueviews.

This one is 1850 Dated Fifty Dollar Slug gilt brass. I’m not sure if the designation is J-355L or J-355C either way this is from the 50’s - 60’s .Very hard to image from the reflective fields. It’s almost like a proof.
This is the only item I own that has a loop for suspension.

I'm hearing alarm bells on that one. It just doesn't have the look of the circa 1949 pieces. I have to wonder if it is actually a very recent jewelry piece. Do you have any more information on its origin?

I too questioned it when I saw this one, questioned enough to search for days. I did find auctions that did look
the same as this one. But when I received it. It looked so perfect I began to wonder if it was made for jewelry.
.
But, it is actually authentic and they were strict from the 50’-60’s I’ll provide a link to a registry where he has
3of the J355L on the top row. I hope link works
And to the registry owners I do apologize for not asking first.

They are the only modern ones.
