SUB POP !

It was awesome to see this email this morning. PSA killed it on this sub, very fast log time and super fast poppage. I always tell myself I'm going to wait for my package to view grades, but I have no self-control lol. I'm really happy with the grades no surprises here (that's a good thing). Most of the cards are from recent box and set rips over the last year. I was really lucky on the Murphy Jeter, when I bought the set I really didn't like the wrap but ripped it anyway. Going through the set most of the cards had a pretty bad ding on the same corner of all the cards some cards were stuck together. I was about to chalk it up to another bad set rip, and I get to Jeter and it was perfect lol.

Awesome grades. I've busted open two Murphy sets, one I had since they came out and one I recently bought at a local estate auction for $10. Both Jeters graded 10s and both sold right away on ebay for over $285. I'm (not so) patiently waiting for two subs to pop. What was your turnaround time on these?

Thanks, I think that it only took 14 or 15 sealed sets to finally land that 10 man those are tough.

This one was logged 8/17 and shipped today!

ETA: Getting those Largent cards finally graded is making me think twice about selling my master set. I'm sure I won't come close to getting back what I have into it. I might just have to keep it .

Tim,

Congrats! You absolutely slayed the sub. The Gem Jeter, 2002 Brady, Score Sanders, Supplemental Emmitt and the 86 Young all stand out. Of course, I am a Hoops guy so I love all the Jordans and as a NW guy I am sure you're stoked about the Pop 1 Shawn Kemp. You killed it on the Wilsons and Largents too. I would definitely keep those PCs going!

Those Hoops Superstars are really tough, I have been through quit a few sets and many seem to have a dinged corner that runs all the way through the set. I'm not sure how those were shipped (I think from Sears or JC Penny), or maybe they just get handled poorly. The Russell Wilson collection is going to go, I just need to find the right time. I am really on the fence with the Largent master set though.

Thanks Mike, yeah that 90 Score Emmitt is really tough to hit in a 10. I have sent a ton of those in, all from factory sets this was my first Gem hit.

Congrats! I am impressed by the 10s from the 1990 Topps Tiffany, centering can be a real monster for that issue. I don't think there will ever be a Maddux PSA 10 due to centering.

For grins I made an unboxing video. I like watching these, so I thought I’d give it a try. If my thoughts seem incomplete at times, I haven’t slept more than a couple hours at a time sense Friday night. We have been in wine grape and apple harvest here in eastern Washington and hit some freezing weather, so l’m working night and day. That’s my excuse anyway lol. I had a phone call, and didn't know how to splice the two.

Thanks David, I watched the video and it was like I was watching ER for the first time lol. I don’t know what I was doing there moving the cards all around, I’ll have something to work on when I post another one.
