Has anyone ever gotten an email from a Todd Tobias , asking to take pictures of your graded cards for PSA to use as a resource for there website ? I`m a little hesitant to send them my cards for obvious reasons . Just looking for other collectors input . thanks

As a PSA employee, he's a gentleman and I'd trust him with my cards if he wanted to borrow them to be scanned.
edit: grammar
If you don't want to send them in to be scanned an easy solution is to buy an Epson V600 scanner. It has a DMAX and DPI rating high enough for the SMR print magazine and you can scan them yourself and send them in. I chose this route.
Me too. But I'd trust Todd 1000%, he's a great guy and totally on top of things.

How much do they pay for this content for the site? Grading vouchers, cash, or null?
I can't speak for others but I have three sets in the Card Facts area and no compensation was given. To me it is an honor to have my cards showcased.
I can understand that for sure, I wasn't sure if they mention the collector who owns them. In either case I believe it would be a good idea of PSA to promote submitting other stuff to people who have a registry full or top grades for a certain set since possibly they no longer have cards to improve upon within it.
Maybe offer them a voucher outside of their normal submission pattern. Might convert a few sports guys to pokemon, heh.

If I were you and wanted to share my cards, I would scan them myself. I sweat bullets anytime the usps or any other carrier has my cards. For me, it would be too much risk for very little reward to physically ship cards to and from PSA.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Thanks for all the input guys . I would really like to show off my cards but I`m not sure what route I am gonna take . Guess I have some thinking to do .

I'm working with Todd too. In his original email, he said:
PSA will cover the cost of the FedEx shipping, and each box sent to us will be covered for up to $100,000 by our insurance company.
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to chime in here and confirm that Todd is indeed a legitimate and reliable employee of PSA's who works on the CardFacts site, amongst other content-related projects. We handle all the incoming sets/cards he requests directly at the office, so rest assured everything is handled with the utmost care and attention, and we always endeavor to scan and return cards to collectors as quickly as possible!
@GeneralJim: If you feel you need to go over our process in further detail to put your mind at ease, please feel free to reach out to me directly via PM. I'm happy to discuss.
