Nice notes, mbwizkid. I have that 1st note but in a much lower grade.
On the Bank of Fernandina note, I’ve seen auction descriptions of the red overprinting as both “red end panels” and “red end protectors”....I’m guessing either term is correct.
For that particular note, i think you're right, either term works. Overprint and protector seem to be interchangeable terms as well. I really like that look on obsoletes.
