2017 Panini Contenders Football

Anyone have any luck with the blaster boxes? It looks like you get one auto or hit per blaster box with 8 packs and 40 cards total. Just thinking about buying several blasters versus a hobby box for $300plus. Thoughts?

I just used my ebay bucks on 3 panini prizm blaster boxes, which I prefer over contenders.
2017 definitely the right year, with Mahomes, Trubisky, Watson, Kareem Hunt, etc.
    Good luck whatever you decide.

I bought a ton of 2017 football unopened cases and boxes after the season last year...in addition to the guys listed above, you have McCafferty, DeDe Westbrook, Chris Godwin, Injury-riddled Fournette, TJ Watt, Myles Garrett, Lattimore, Peppers, T. White, Budda Baker, Dalvin Cook, Schuster, Mixon, etc...I thought then and still do that there is a ton of talent in the 2017 draft class....

So are the blasters the better way to go or the hobby boxes? You can by 15-18 blasters to one hobby box

Blasters are fine, but the upside is limited. Some of the parallels and shorter-print run cards are hobby only. Keep in mind that the checklist for Panini Contenders is very deep, you could end up with a bunch of $2 autos. But I do like that they have a very stable floor, even if you get a junk auto, the singles and other inserts should at least get you a break-even. The rookie class from 2017, in my opinion could be as good as 2014, or better.

Good info... I am thinking these contenders will be my main purchase each year for the big 3 sports
