When I use choose files to attach an image to a post they come out to dark.

The image on my iPhone, on the iMac computer in Photoshop, Lightroom, and Preview all look identical. When I insert an image here using the choose files to attach option they display darker. In photographic terms the images are at least a stop darker than what I edited and see everywhere else.
I'm posting jpg images and the color space is sRGB. For some reason the forums are altering the image file as they make the little code.
Has anyone else run into this?

Nope. Those look the same to me and both are at least a stop darker than the files I attached.

Changed Output sharpening selection in Lightroom to test that 2nd image. It's also good in preview and and after posting.

So strange. If I link file from elsewhere it comes out normal. If I upload here, it darkens

Does your Color Space setting in camera match the Export settings?

I think I had the same problem uploading to Instagram about a year ago, but I don't recall how I fixed it. When it hits me, I'll get back to you.

Yours seem consistent to me. Are they matching your screen in lightroom?

Yeah. They match side by side on my LED screen and on my LCD screen - in Lightroom, on local disk, and in cloud.
I shoot RAW using tethered capture to local disk and export to my virtually attached Google drive as JPEG.
