Can someone please identify this US medal for me?
Have tried the "know it all" google and no results or details for it.
Found several very similar but different. Found nothing on the Bay.
diam: 38.01 mm
weight: 35.05 gr
Also can someone possible put an approximate price on it?
Thanks everybody

Is it edgemarked? It appears to be a Medallic Arts company piece. The design is reminiscent of Lara Gardin Fraser's original US quarter design.

eBay shows one sale of this at $11.95. I cannot easily determine the date of the transaction. Seller seemed to feel it was bronze.
There seems to be two photos of this item on Google images.
thank you fellows,
there is an edge inscripton Medallic Art Co NY. -Bronze.
\I am not a member of worthpoint so they will not let me sign in. they say I used my free time years ago.
oh well, so be it.
problem solved...
Thank you all
Many, many medals were produced during the US Bicentennial years. As a collecting field they never seem to have caught on. Bronze medals of this era tend to be tough sells. At a price like $11.95, as mentioned earlier, I would pass. If offered to a dealer a medal like this would probably bring less than $1.00.
Nice medal. I like this type.
Nice, I like it !!!
Interesting!
