Need info on cards with grading problems

Bought a 1962T Mantle card in 1989...A beauty...Had it graded, came back as colorized...Not visible to me..No crayons, magic marker colored pencils were used..Has anyone seen or gotten a colorized card?..Back then what could have been used..Now I know I can't prove it wasn't colorized last month..besides the point..Any info is appreciated..

That's pretty common with 62t (and especially 71t)... Usually it's the corners that were touched... If you have a loupe (or a magnifying glass), take a close look at the corners under magnification and bright light... Sometimes, it's obvious when you do that... I'm told PSA uses a black light to see such things, and they may use other means too, but I generally have no trouble seeing it myself with a loupe and a flashlight.

Sometimes, if a marker was used, you can see the bleeding through on the edge of the card. I have seen many 71's with that.
