I don't recall ever seeing PWCC sell one of these before. These are cards that were made in the 90s by some unknown producer to try and create a "new" Gretzky RC to replace his '79. Card is numbered #1 but it's not part of a set. They are all over eBay for less than $10 they are strictly a novelty item now a days.

I think the point is that the title is misleading and the winner obviously was misled and didn't realize they could be had for $10. No one is arguing the collectability of the item.
