Just back from our host. I still find it very difficult to capture iridescent color on proof coins.
I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.

Your photo's look great (except for the final 1956 pictures) perhaps. The higher the light, the better the color.

The best way I have found to capture the color on Proof coins is to let Phil do it.

Bought one of the cast offs for what I thought was a reasonable price.
Not much, but got my 1st pre 1950 proof.
