1796 Castorland Medal Restrike- Electrotype ?

I bought this a week ago. The seller had it listed as a restrike but I bid on it thinking it was an electrotype. It weighs 11.57 g. What do you all think?

Looks like electrotype to me. Just never saw wavy or cracks fields before.

If it has an edge seam it is an electro. Otherwise, it is a lead cast that's copper plated.
I thought that was unusual as well.> @Insider2 said:
I don't see a seam.
In any case, it is NOT a restrike. Depending what you paid, you may have a nice item for a C/F collection. If you paid too much - SEND IT BACK!

I paid under $20 bucks. Good deal to me. I knew it wasn't a restrike, some type of copy.
Edited: Glad to read that - nice deal! I first read "under $120."
As previously stated, an Electrotype will have an edge seam. A restrike Castorland will have a privy mark on the edge, there are a number of privy marks on restrikes they were in use at different times and can help date when the restrike was made. I'm in agreement that is is not an Electro or a Restrike. But it is still a neat item.
