What was the card that touched off the error craze of 1988 and 1989 and especially 1990? The 1981 and 1982 Donruss and Fleer errors seem to have burned themselves out and there were very few between 1983 and 1987, then it seemed by 1990 all companies were making errors on purpose as the first chase cards.

I remember 1988 Topps introducing error cards to me as an 11 year old. These are the ones I remember (I didn't learn about the McGwire White Triangle until I was older):
I do remember the dale murphy. If I remember correctly, there was also a pat sheridan error that year and maybe a gary sheffield as well. The murphy ruled the day though
