Jeter sp PSA 9?????

I am not very familiar with these foil issues, as I have never owned a single Jeter. But looking at the scan, and in particular the upper and lower right corners, both front and back, I'm surprised this card got a 7, much less a 9. Am I missing something?

PSA 9 is generous of course if 2 corner flicks, but maybe it is just super superior appeal or surface wise.
looks like a 7 at the very best

Ugly 9 imo
those corner nicks only show on scans like this. I own this card in a PSA 7 and PSA 8. and I ensure you, the difference between this and a 7 definitely show. Personally, I think this card would sit fine in a PSA 8 holder, maybe even a PSA 8.5. I agree 9 is a gift. However these cards, regardless of grade, always look worse in scans because of their foil surface as opposed to seen live. I do not think this card is a 7.

Also an older label. Betting resubmitted it would not come back a 9.
The corners on my 8's look much better than this.
