The five piece .999 pure silver "Silver Eagle's Nest" minted by the American Royal Mint in 1988.
This set is number #715 from a total mintage limited to 6,000.
Included in the set are the following pieces:
One troy oz. 1986-dated U.S Mint silver eagle
One troy oz. round
Five troy oz. round
Ten troy oz. octagonal
One pound (14.58 troy ounces) round
Each piece is just a bit over the stated weight of 31.58 ounces, total, so this set is just about 1 kilo of .999 pure silver.
All in the original custom and really nice cherry wood box.
Each piece is clearly marked .999 silver and each piece is edgemarked with the matching, low 0715 serial number.
This set looks not to have been touched in 30 years. The set is beginning to pick up some beautiful, dramatic gold, pink, and blue toning on the edges.
