Any thoughts on vintage boxing cards being undervalued?
Low populations and values. Thoughts on price appreciation for Dempsey, Tunney, Jefferies, Johnson, others.

I don’t see anything changing that’ll increase demand. If anything, popularity of the sport seems to be trending down.

It's the delight of all new boxing card collectors -- "how are these cards, that are in such high grade, depicting some of the biggest American cultural names of the past 120 years, so cheap? I'm ahead of the curve, surely they'll go up."
Nope, not really. The mainstream Dempsey cards cost the same today as they did when I bought them 12 years ago. You don't collect boxing cards because you're looking for a good investment. You collect boxing cards because it's like the wild west -- new sets are being discovered all the time, countless checklists are incomplete, variations for sets we thought we had pinned down sprout up, it's all about the hunt for discovery.
