Cool Holder, Nice Florin

Early 60th birthday present from my wife. Hate to cross for my type set.

Nice florin. I am much more partial to the Edward VII's, but a lot more money. I would hate to cross it over too.

It's a nice coin. Why worry about "crossing it over" unless there is a good financial reason to do so right now?

Old ANACS grading standards were known to be tougher, is the MS 62 grade about right in 2018?

Yeah, I’d reconsider crossing this. I think there’s a group of people that really like the small anacs holders.

Actually, the big name dealers would disparage coins in ANACS holders during the era when those were used. To this day the main sticker service won't evaluate them. What grade is it today? I really don't know since I have no feeling for how they grade British coins at the TPGs.

    I still like the coin.

Excellent strike, can’t really judge surfaces for hairlines, etc. Might be under graded by 1-2 points if ok.

That 1913 florin is a very well-struck coin.

As nice as it is, I'm just certain that I would have a difficult time paying the asking price.

Nice coin! That's one of the very few holders outside PCGS and NGC that I like.
    I would leave it be,
