Not really. Most sports card collectors gamble, even if it is just on busting wax boxes/packs. Most of the card show dealers I've known are gamblers:Football games, Wax Pack poker, Lottery etc.

Just a quick follow-up to my strong admonition about the OPs post.
When I see a post that I know is obvious garbage, I respond. While some may think busting open packs of baseball cards is gambling, what the OP is referencing is actual money out of pocket, and online gambling. At least with pack busting, you end up with a product, some better than others, but the comparison here is not apples to apples, it's apples to disaster!
I have spent my fair share of time in several casinos, mostly playing blackjack. I generally do pretty well, but have had my share of losses. Without belaboring the point, all casino games, come with a house edge...those beautiful casinos are NOT built with winner's money...the greatest majority of their income is derived from slot machines...one should clearly understand the machinations of the RNG...random number generator. The other is run by a guy named Stanford Wong, which is a pseudonym. I've met him in person a couple of times...he lives in a gorgeous coastal California home derived from gaming winnings. He offers a free message board, when those with like interests post about their expeiences and ask questions. I know some of these posters personally, good guys all.
So, not the moderator here, but crap is crap, facts are facts...you have two websites above that will provide you more than you would ever want to know about gaming, statistical fact and a plethora of gaming info.
