We had a mandatory obstruction in all FL social studies classes today. 2/3 of my students are 8th graders, ~13 year olds. I’d wager only 5% have any clue what 9/11 was/is. Maybe 15% have “heard of it.” High school students are slightly more informed. Slightly. It’s being rapidly forgotten. Very sad for a guy that watched the second plane hit live on tv.

Having fun while switching things up and focusing on a next level PCGS slabbed 1950+ type set, while still looking for great examples for the 7070.

I remember the day well and the first call we got at work saying a plane flew into one of the towers. I had personally flown passed the Towers via the VFR corridor going down the Hudson River. My first thought was "how could a pilot fly into one of the Towers on a clear and sunny day like today" thinking it was a small private plane. Then we got word of the second aircraft. That changed everything.

The longer I live the more convincing proofs I see of this truth, that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice is it possible for an empire to rise without His aid? Benjamin Franklin
