My 7070 in progress

Got interested in doing a couple of years ago after seeing several posts on this topic. Started with some coins I already owned, bought a few more at my coin club auctions, then expanded my search. A nice change of pace for me and fun too.

Nice group, just a few to go.
These are great sets to build, aren't they? You can pick whatever grade range you like or favorite dates or whatever and then go to town. The 1959 Lincoln Memorial cent appears to have taken on wonderful toning.

Wonderful, thank you for sharing! I have the Littleton clone of the 7070 and I've been working on it on and off for several years now. I don't think I'll ever finish. Even once filled I'll probably continue upgrading as I find coins that speak to me!

Well done. the 7070 is the crux of collecting, and you will be delighted with it.
The first coin I always look at is the Classic Large Cent. Go slow on that one . . .get a little bit of detail, on a smooth planchet . . . and enjoy it forever !

Very nice!! I might try this one day.
Nice set , thanks for sharing
Very nice set! Well chosen examples, they flow smoothly and no blatant peoblems, you have a good eye. Great original mellow color all over the place, with a few bright highlights. Those last half dozen holes are the toughies.

Nice job, looks GREAT. I'm working on one myself.
That's a great looking type set.
Keep up the good work !
Looking good.
I have a 7070 that has about 1/3 of the coins you do. My Merc is toning pink and my silver 1976-1776 are starting to tone also.
Nice! Type collecting can indeed be fun.

I worked on my 7070 for 35 years, updating as I went. I ended up with two 7070's since I had enough coins fro the updating to make another set. It's probably the most fun thing I've ever done in coins and these sets would be the last thing I would ever give up.

Great looking type set and you have come far in only a few years. I am doing a modified graded type set including gold (around 100 pieces) and only have 11 pieces so far. Mine will likely take me 20 years to come close to completion.
Congrats and good luck finding your remaining 10 pieces.
