This is a gray background fractional shield that is actually in the shape of a shield. The shield has been trimmed to fit a shield-shaped frame. The 39 notes are in EXCELLENT condition including several that have been hand signed.
There is little, if any, of the typical water damage that these shields experienced in the basement of the Treasury Department.
The frame is painted silver and shows some cracking where it was joined and there are some scuffs and bruises. There is a sturdy wire for hanging attached to the back.
