1971 no s nickel

I've heard some are valuable, some aren't. Can anyone tell me what I've got? Thanks!

(Sorry about pic quality, best I can do on crappy phone) :(

The 1971 no S is a proof. Your coin is not. Proofs have a highly reflective, mirror-like surface. Hold your finger over your coin. Do you see a strong reflection of your fingernail?

Yours is a normal nickel. Look up 1971-S no "S" nickel on the internet and view the images.

  • Thank you. I don't know if because the poor pic quality its hard to tell but this one doesn't have an s or any mint mark. I did look up images and they looked like mine, so I came here for a "second opinion ". I will try to get better images so it will be easier to see. Thank you so much for responding!

  • Ok, gotcha. Thanks again ☺
