Home Buy, Sell, & Trade - U.S. Coins

It's like viewing auction results - I wish we could........................

I wish we could see at least the original 'asking' prices on BST items, but more often than not, the sellers change the price to "SOLD".
"SOLD" doesn't help me when I research the current value of items.
Just thinking out loud here.
Any opinions.

Successful transactions with : MICHAELDIXON, Manorcourtman, Bochiman, bolivarshagnasty, AUandAG, onlyroosies, chumley, Weiss, jdimmick, BAJJERFAN, gene1978, TJM965, Smittys, GRANDAM, JTHawaii, mainejoe, softparade, derryb

Bad transactions with : nobody to date

Depends on the item and if the buyer asks me to remove the price. That or if I have one item listed and someone post "PM Sent", out of respect for them then I remove the price and sometimes the entire post.

I do see a valid point in leaving old posts unchanged, other than added "Sold". It adds a strong transparency of the market.

My current FSH post would have another 20 items attached to it if I kept everything intact. It becomes cumbersome to load the page almost.

Well, I agree with you, but this is a very personal board where people know each other, not a large auction house. Many people would rather keep their buying decisions private. I know I would even if that means that historical coin pricing is lost. However, since the coin volume here is so low, I don't think much is lost.
