    Standard Catalog of World Coins.

There are five editions, arranged by century. Arguably, the most popular is the 1901-2000 book.

Published by Krause Publications, a division of F&W Media, Inc.

I bought a two-volume set of the 1991 ANA Centennial edition. It has the token and medallic items in it too. It is just a guide, and I don't collect much of the modern stuff, so it is perfect. And it comes in a box too.

You can get the new books on CDs, which are great for taking to a coin show without having to lug around 5 big books.

I have two hard bound, two-book SCWC sets, one is done up in green (the ANA Centennial Set), and one is done up in red. While these hardbound editions are in a prominent spot in my office, it is because they look so nice in the slipcases! The books I use for decision making are all 2017 or 2018 editions.

Last weekend, Krause Publications offered the five book set at $174.99 postpaid. For me, three of the five books would be updates (but not by very much, only one edition). Right now, I am certain that I will pull the trigger when there is an update of the 19th Century book, which should come along real soon.

You can lose $175 real fast if you don't have current information! The books themselves are practically a gift.
