Is this mechanical or shelf doubling and is it common on proof coins?

Yes, it is machine/mechanical doubling... No idea if it is common on proof coins... have not been buying the sets for at least a decade.....Cheers, RickO

I have 1 set and it does not have any doubling. Not much of a sample, but all I have.
