A 78-s Morgan dollar? Is there something about this one you’re not telling us?
What do you mean like it? I have an 1878-S in an NGC holder so that’s pretty close, I guess. Anything in particular that struck you about that coin?
I mean if anyone has a mint state Morgan dollar
The OP has just joined the forum and he is showing us his coins. One thing I'll say is welcome and make sure you keep buying coins that are already graded!
Yup I am new, it’s cool to just learn about others peoples coins and to share about my coins

I have a few MS Morgans...
Here are a bunch with reflective surfaces called PL (prooflike) or DMPL (deep mirror prooflike)

Is one a 78-S?
Are you working on a set?

Lots!
What did you trade for that one if I may ask?
Collector, occasional seller
I one had a 1878s XF not graded coin years ago but made the mistake of cleaning it, I felt vary guilty and later learned cleaning coins is vary bad so this week I had a chance to get a new one
Welcome to the forum! Thanks for sharing your coin.
It traded a 1945 gold 2 peso and the others coin I forget plus $40
Thanks for welcoming me the forum is cool and fun
Welcome. I'm trying to save up for one, and hope to upgrade my circ. Morgan someday.
Here is one.
Successful Trades: Swampboy,
That’s a really nice coin and I was going to say it looks proof like but then I looked at the holder more closely and my thoughts were confirmed
Here is another, should you like toning.

I am not really working on a set I just have a list in my mind of U.S coins I really want to have
The standard date/MM and major varieties greysheet set (same as the NGC registry). That includes the 4 1878 varieties, two 1879-CCs, two 1879-Ss and two 1880-CCs. Also the 1882-O/S, 1887/6, 1887/6-O, and 1900-O/CC.
Thanks I will keep that in mind and use that info to add to my collection.
Welcome to the forums and have fun collecting. I collect Morgan dollars, many in mint state like others here. There's a lot to learn!

Yes , welcome to the forum for sure. I did not mean to come off as a snide member. I just didn’t understand what you were asking about. Didn’t notice you were new here either.
You have yourself a very nice 64 my friend. I agree with insider to continue to purchase your coins already slabbed until you get your feet good and soaked.
Again, welcome
Cool that’s one nice coin MS66! And also the 1878 coin, these coins make me want to get another Morgan
My favorite from my collection:

I wonder weather I should get a PL coin, a ms coin MS65 or over, or a Carson city coin, witch one should I get ?
