ICCS would give the '58 a VF-30. The florin a 40 at least

ICCS did give the Florin EF40. What did PCGS give it????? The '58 was never graded before.

the 58 would get a 45 max at ICCS. If Brian got up in a bad mood, maybe only a 30.

I like Victoria silver, and indeed this coin. I would however based on pictures have to ding it for not just the soft strike (eg hair and rev. lion detail) but also substantial "scuffing" over the obverse device/Vicky. Way too much action. Please have a look at the 1854 florin (obviously a much rarer date) on the PCGS pop reports that graded 50 also with essentially all of the so-called wear being soft strike in the absence of scuffing; I think that grade still regardless of what they labeled it.
The Canadian also has some obverse maladies of wear that maybe I was a little tough on, but can not see my way past a 20 on.
