I got this beauty in an NTC MS65 slab on ebay for $55. Sellers photos were terrible, but I could see potential. When I got it in hand I was blown away. I cracked and sent to PCGS and it graded MS65. I quickly sold it a forum member for a very handsome profit. lets see your treasure finds in those cheapo generic slabs.

I think this is the only generic slab I have; low grade but a nice lower mintage SF Mint Civil War date.

I pulled this out of a third world MS-64 slab. I am not going to say which one though, I still find them from time to time.

Although I wouldn’t go as far as to call ANACS generic, it’s not PCGS or NGC. I really like this coin and the slab. It’s very conservatively graded:

I would hardly call ANACS generic or third-world.

I've never heard the term "generic" used for slabs. There are first tier slabs (NGC & PCGS), second tier slabs (ANACS & ICG) and all the others.
