1974 Christmas Topps Baseball Rack Pack Fake ? or ...? Photos posted

Out of my league with these, are they bogus or legit? are the cards showing any good?

    Not legit, unfortunately. Most are backroom reproductions, especially for anything from the 1970s.



    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    You're welcome. The cards inside the pack should be authentic, but you are not likely to find any key cards and condition is likely to be in the NM range.

    There is some debate about whether a 3rd party company did package X-mas racks in the 1950s and 1960s from Topps overstock, but even those generally contain cards in mid-grade only. In any case, none of these X-mas or holiday racks were ever issued or distributed by Topps.
