Cool Provenance

I picked these medals up not because their condition or rarity but because of the envelopes they came in. Anyone else have any coins with provenance that influenced your purchase? Unfortunately I had to pay more than the price written down!
Edit: The toning and bad picture hide the luster these silver medals still have.

Provenance matters. A well-regarded provenance matters a lot to me. It gives me additional confidence in the coin, and I may bid stronger as a result. And if it comes with original ticket or envelope associated with the provenance, then that’s a cool bonus.
