My latest purchase: Yaz RC upgrade

With 10% eBay bucks I pulled the trigger on this one. I've had my "7" since I bought it raw from my favorite shop in 2005 and had it graded later the same year. It was time to upgrade and I really like the centering and the relative lack of print on this "8," and for a grand, the price was right.

I also had these raw pulls graded at the National and thought I'd share them too.

Beautiful '60 Yaz. One of the few cards I've thought about getting this year even though I don't collect any more.

Especially good idea to get one now at around $900-1000 versus two years ago during the shilling wars - this was one of the key cards along with the Rose rookie, Koufax rookie, and a few others that were targeted. Out of the blue Yaz rookies jumped to over $2500-3000 from $900 for no reason and then right back down.

ouch - imagine how those guys feel after paying 2.5 to 3 times what it was worth. They'll have to wait what 12 to 13 or more years to even break even.
